Shortly after opening up for The Steve Miller Band last summer at the Rutland Fairgrounds with a popular local band called "VISION", Rick Urbani and Kevin Quinn started an Open Mic Night here in Rutland to give a stage for new and up and coming musicians. Drummer Andy Hanscom (8084) and Bass player Ben Butterworth (Backwoods Messiahs) became regular visitors. The Music just flowed, and after a few weeks cries started coming from the crowds for the group to come up with a name and start playing out. They were having so much fun and creating so much enthusiasm - with such diverse styles between the group it was a real conundrum, hence the name.
Konundrum plays covers from Alice in Chains to Zeppelin and are working on their first original CD. It is no accident this band was saved for last, stick around and find out why.
